Hi there! My name is Sarah and I am currently a Senior at St. Olaf College creating an Individual Major called Local Identities: Sustainable Business and Community. In the fall of 2017, I spent three and a half months abroad in a small town on the outskirts of Florence, Italy. The program I was a part of is HECUA’s Sustainable Agriculture, Food, and Justice. My interests lie in small business, food/agriculture, and developing ways to involve communities in environmentally friendly and sustainable practices through food education! This coming fall, I will be spending four months as a part of an intentional learning community in the Oregon Cascades.
